Grade Grievance Committee

Note: three-year terms; 6 members: 3 tenured (1 from department w/graduate program), 1 enrolled undergraduate CLAE student, 1 enrolled graduate CLAE student and Associate Dean.

The Grade Grievance Committee reviews all grade grievances that have not been resolved at the individual faculty and/or departmental chair levels.

This committee reports to the Executive Board and to the faculty assembly as appropriate. The committee consists of seven-members, as follows:

  • Three tenured faculty representatives (1 graduate faculty)
  • One undergraduate CLAE student representative
  • One graduate CLAE student representative
  • Social Science, one-year term
  • Associate Dean, permanent

  3. Review the University of Detroit Mercy 2019-2024 Strategic Plan.
  4. Check the webpage for the specific Committee to determine information provided is accurate.
  5. Keep the University community informed of committee activities by providing mid-year and annual reports to be posted to the shared governance website. The secretary of the committee is responsible for sending these documents to CLAESG@udmercy.edu.
