Promotion and tenure As representative of the College of Liberal Arts and Education, the Committee’s main purpose is to review and provide recommendations on tenure and promotion applications and related issues.

This committee reports to the Executive Board and to the faculty assembly as appropriate. The committee consists of seven-members, as follows:

  • Three Humanities tenured representatives
  • Four Social Studies representatives
  • Note: elected for three-year terms
  • Note: maximum of 2 representatives per department
